thanks Tammy.
Whenever you're interested in going out to some of these sites, just let me know.
The Southern Products site gets looked over about every year. They have a pretty
good consultant on board who keeps us posted on their progress.
There are a couple more around that may interest you as well, including one at Pope
Air Force base.
How long have you been in the wetlands group?
see you soon.

Hi, Ken!
I'm involved with DWQ's recent effort to develop a more comprehensive system of
tracking stream and wetland mitigation across the state. I'm focusing on wetland
mitigation, while Eric Kulz is focusing on stream mitigation. It would be great
to meet with you sometime to hear about what's going on in your region. Please
feel free to let us know what level of assistance you would like with mitigation
report reviews, site visits, etc.
For example: I just reviewed a monitoring report for Southern Products and Silica
(DWQ 401 # 20041529, previously 19910168). A couple of the wetland reclamation
areas on-site are proposed to be released, so this growing season would be a good
time for a site visit to evaluate success. I would be glad to schedule a visit,
accompany you on a visit, or take your word about success at the site - whatever
level of involvement you prefer.
Looking forward to working with you on projects in the Fayetteville region!
Warm regards,
