The project purpose is to replace an obsolete timber bridge with a new bottomless culvert.

The project will involve placing temporary dewatering diversions in Williamson Creek and phase constructing the
new culvert and demolishing the old bridge. Rip rap will be placed along the culvert footers and upstream and
downstream of the culvert to protect the stream banks and stream channel. Heavy equipment such as track hoes
will do most of the work.
