Mr. Mac,

This email is to inform you that we received the re-submittal of the Water's Edge proposal on January 17, 2017. After
further coordination with NMFS Habitat Conservation Division related to adverse impacts to SAV and EFH, the Corps
remains concerned regarding the dredging project as proposed. Additional information is required in order to further
evaluate the proposal. Specifically, the following information is requested: 1) An SAV survey within the project area is
required to determine accurate impacts to the SAV and SAV habitat; 2) Discussion on avoidance and minimization of
adverse impacts to the SAV; and 3) A compensatory mitigation plan for any unavoidable impacts is required.

A hard copy letter will follow providing further detail.

Hi Liz

The Community of Waters Edge recently received a variance from the Coastal Resources Commission for a dredging
permit that the Corps of Engineers denied. Jim Gregson with Division of Water Resources has indicated we should
resubmit the permit forms DCM MPI and MP2 to both his office and to the Corps. I assume this goes to you? If so can
you provide a mailing address, and if not can you tell me to whom it should be sent.Thank You.
