Dear Sir or Madam,
Please do not permit the ACP. It would wreak too much damage on the environment, and consumers would
pay for all of it. It could pollute groundwater sources, cut a swath of forested land, adversely affect
wetland and aquatic creatures, and adversely affect economically depressed communities with a large
proportion of people of color. All of that and more for energy, from a filthy fuel, that we won't need. The
energy demand has lately been flat, despite increasing population, due to increasing energy conservation and
energy sourced from renewables. Please envision a cleaner, healthier state and help this dream be achieved
by denying the permit for the Atlantic Coast Pipeline.
