Dear heads of the NC Department of Environmental Quality:
I write to ask you to reject the 401 water quality certification for the Atlantic Coast Pipeline (ACP).
As a Native American, I both love my country and the land that is our foundation.
We have to protect our water, our land, and the physical beauty of our country. This pipeline and others like it
threaten what I care about most. We cannot live without water and clean land. We can find a way to survive and
thrive without oil and gas.
Thank you for hearing me.
