Subject:Please reject the ACP Water Quality Certification - And say YES to a better world.

Dear DEQ,

I'm writing to oppose permitting the Atlantic Coast Pipeline. Here are my reasons.

1) Pipelines have a proven track record of environmental damage and danger.

2) Fossil fuel energy has a proven effect of global and environmental damage and danger.

3) We as a state, region, country, and world need to move towards a clean energy economy NOW. This is an imperative
for homeland security, environmental and social justice, and entering the new global economy. Of course Duke Energy,
Dominion, and others don't want to change business models. But that doesn't change the dangers and the reality of
homeland security, justice, and global economies with continued polluting practices. The shift away from dirty energy
needs to happen now.

Please, say YES to clean energy.

Please, say YES to independent and third-party solar.

Please, say YES to energy efficiency.

Please, say YES to Duke and Dominion transitioning - NOW! - to being utility providers for a clean, green grid.

Please, say YES to the kind of world you want - for your childrens' children's children.

economy, and our people.
