It may cause all this damage and just sit empty forever because the need for it is not there. The need for natural gas has remained steady for a long time, regardless of what the expensive ads from Duke and Dominion tell people. There are more jobs for people working in green fuel production now than fossil fuels, and will be greater every year. The selfishness of these industries to try to push their dying product through instilling fear of running out, to be willing to do the environmental damage, ruin land that has been in families for hundreds of years, go through tribal lands, ruin our waters with sedimentation, erosion, ruining precious wetlands that can’t be repaired…is reprehensible. As a proud and hopeful citizen of NC, family here since late 1700s, I ask you to deny the 401 permit for the Atlantic Coast Pipeline. I thank you for your consideration, Cynthia Pursifull Justice 21 Park Road Biltmore Forest, NC 28803 1
