Dear Division of Water Resources,

Please reject the Atlantic Coast Pipeline LLC's 401 Water Quality Certification application. I'm worried about the damage
it could cause to our environment and our waterways. Water is life, and giving priority to oil is obscene.

The construction of the pipeline could harm aquatic life and habitats, smothering spawning beds and fish eggs. These
spawning and nursery areas are essential to endangered species and several other species of concern in North Carolina.

For these reasons, I urge you to reject the 401 Water Quality Certification application from Atlantic Coast Pipeline LLC.
