I am concerned about the damage that this pipeline could cause to our environment and our waterways. The construction of the pipeline would disrupt hundreds of acres of wetlands and put hundreds of streams at risk of contamination, harming aquatic life and habitats, smothering spawning beds and fish eggs. These spawning and nursery areas are essential to endangered species such as the Atlantic sturgeon and the Shortnose sturgeon, and home to the Neuse River Waterdog, Carolina Madtom, and several other species of concern in North Carolina. For these reasons, I strongly urge you to reject the 401 Water Quality Certification application from Atlantic Coast Pipeline LLC. Thank you. Sincerely, George Czerw 703 Alyssum Avenue Caswell Beach, NC 28465 1
