I know what happened there and I hope you also remember the cries for help to prevent the pipeline. How the people of color and the indigenous peoples are once again being sacrificed for something we should not put money to are and do not need. I hope that NCDEQ will reject the Atlantic Coast Pipeline LLC's 401 Water Quality Certification application. I'm worried about the damage it could cause to our environment and our waterways. The construction of the pipeline could harm aquatic life and habitats, smothering spawning beds and fish eggs. These spawning and nursery areas are essential to endangered species such as the Atlantic sturgeon and the Shortnose sturgeon, and home to the Neuse River Waterdog, Carolina Madtom, and several other species of concern in North Carolina. For these reasons, I urge you to reject the 401 Water Quality Certification application from Atlantic Coast Pipeline LLC. Thank you. Sincerely, Margaret Yocis 3611 University Dr Apt 17G Durham, NC 27707 5132840616 1
