Dear Division of Water Resources,

I ask that the NCDEQ will reject the Atlantic Coast Pipeline LLC's 401 Water Quality Certification application. I'm
concerned about the damage it will cause to our environment and our waterways.

The construction of the pipeline will harm aquatic life and habitats, smothering spawning beds and fish eggs. These
spawning and nursery areas are essential to endangered species such as the Atlantic sturgeon and the Shortnose
sturgeon, and home to the Neuse River Waterdog, Carolina Madtom, and several other species of concern in North
Carolina.

For these reasons, I urge you, in the strongest possible terms, to reject the 401 Water Quality Certification application
from Atlantic Coast Pipeline LLC.
