Dear Division of Water Resources,
The application for 401 Water Quality Certification for the ACP doesn't include enough details about which streams
would be jeopardized by trenching, cofferdams, or in-stream blasting. Without site-specific details, it's impossible to
know what the water quality impacts would be.
If there is a leak in the pipeline, what measures will the pipeline company be prepared to take to: 1) stop the leak, 2)
remove the leaked oil to a safe and approved location and 3) repair any and all damage done to people, livestock, native
animals and plants, fish and other aquatic species endangered and do all with out need for drawn out legal proceedings.
The application hasn't shown that the Atlantic Coast Pipeline won't pollute our waterways. Please reject this application.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Donald Rumph
