Dear Division of Water Resources,
The application for 401 Water Quality Certification for the ACP doesn't include enough details about which streams
would be jeopardized by trenching, cofferdams, or in-stream blasting. Without site-specific details, it's impossible to
know what the water quality impacts would be.
We cannot afford to jeopardize our water for short term profits. We do need to be turning our resources towards
converting as quickly as possible to renewable energy. This something that simply must be done in order for us to be
competitive on the world market and also to save our climate from further extremes. Let's work together to move into
the clean energy era and leave planet destruction behind as a way of getting energy.
The application hasn't shown that the Atlantic Coast Pipeline won't pollute our waterways. Please reject this application.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Chrystal Hardt
