Renewable energy (safe, clean energy) is already available in many forms. It is simply ridiculous to put the environment and communities in harms way for a dying source of energy. If the companies pushing for this pipeline want to expand, then they have plenty of options. As already mentioned, the pipeline could cause harm to our environment and the communities who would live near it. The construction of the pipeline would harm nearly 37,000 feet of 326 waterbodies and at least 467.7 acres of valuable wetlands. Our wetlands, streams, and rivers are an important part of biodiversity and the heritage of our state and this pipeline could put them in danger. I hope that DEQ will reject this application and the pipeline all together. Thank you. Sincerely, Adena Hockaday 4162 Stonecrest Dr Apt. 202 Burlington, NC 27215 1
