Installing this pipeline will put the health of these entities, along with others, at risk. This has been shown to be the case in numerous studies of faulty gas lines, that leak, and harm the environment. These lines have shown to be faulty time and time again. They have tendencies to crack easily over time, so they are dangerous. I'm very concerned about the Atlantic Coast Pipeline's 401 Water Quality Certification application. In it, they claim that they'll restore waterbodies and wetlands back to being healthy. However, the applicant does not list any specific plans to measure or monitor the waterways they say would be impacted. Protecting our waterways is important to me and the Atlantic Coast Pipeline could put them in jeopardy. Please reject the application from the Atlantic Coast Pipeline LLC because it does not meet my and DEQ's standards of protecting our waterways. Thank you. Sincerely, Alexander McGirt 1943 NC Highway 710 N Pembroke, NC 28372 910-416-2742 1
