Sullins, Director Division of Water Quality DWQ EXP No. 05-0732yl f Chatham County Y 12, ?1L Subject Property: Briar Chapel - Phase 1 Stormwater Management Modification On October 27, 2008, the 401 Oversight/Express Permitting Unit of the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received a request from Mr. Jeremy Finch, PE of John R. McAdams, Inc., for acceptance into the Express Review Program regarding a modification to Water Quality Pond 4 previously approved by the DWQ on October 31, 2007 as part of Stormwater Management Plan (SMP) for "Briar Chapel - Phase 1" in Chatham County. This letter advises you that your project will be accepted into the Express Review Program once the following items are received: a. The application fee of $500.00 made payable to the North Carolina Division of Water Quality [half-.price for stormwater management plan with modification to one (1) drainage area]; b. Three (3) complete and collated copies of the Express Review Stormwater Management Plan Application http://h2o.enr.state.nc.us/ncwetlands/documents/SWMAv2.pdf Three (3) copies of all supporting information pertaining to this project including: i. Design calculation sheets for BMP 44, as well as any other BMP for which there has been changes in the impervious areas in their drainage areas; ii. BMP supplements for the BMPs and Required Items Check List (available at http://h2o.enr.state.nc.us/su/bmp forms.htm) along with all required items; iii. A signed and notarized Operation & Maintenance Agreement for the stormwater management device and associated appurtenances; iv. Most current site plans with existing and proposed contours and delineated drainage areas; v. Plan view and cross sectional details of the BMP(s) being modified; e. One (1) data CD of full size plans in TIFF Group 4 format (black and white, not grayscale or color). If the plans are too large to store in TIFF format, they can be stored in PDF. Please be advised that all Stormwater BMPs must be designed, at a minimum, to remove 85% TSS, in accordance with the most recent version of the NC Division of Water Quality Stormwater Best Management Practices Manual.
