I am writing to share my support for the Atlantic Coast Pipeline (ACP) – an infrastructure project that is critical
to ensuring that families and small businesses in the region have access to the energy resources that power their
lives. The ACP is the safest way to transport cleaner-burning natural gas to meet the growing energy needs of
millions of North Carolina residents.

The pipeline is a carefully and thoroughly planned project. The route is the result of years of comprehensive
studies and surveys to avoid and minimize impacts to sensitive areas. It has also been rerouted over 300 times to
reduce the impact to environmental, cultural, and historical resources and endangered species. Additionally, the
ACP has provided more than 100,000 pages of reports and documentation covering every aspect of the project
demonstrating that it is environmentally sound.

It is important to trust the review process and avoid delay on such a safe, necessary project. That is why I urge
you to approve the necessary permits for the Atlantic Coast Pipeline.
