NOTICE OF A CITIZENS INFORMATIONAL WORKSHOP FOR THE
PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS TO NC 215 FROM US 64 to SR 1326
(MACEDONIA CHURCH ROAD) SOUTH OF BALSAM GROVE
TIP Project No R-2594

The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) will hold the
above Citizens Informational Workshop on Tuesday, October 28, 2008, between
the hours of 4 00 pm and 7 00 pm at Balsam Grove Community Center, located
at 8732 Parkway Road, Balsam Grove, 28708
Interested individuals may attend this informal workshop anytime during
the above stated hours The purpose of this workshop is for NCDOT
representatives to provide information, answer questions, and accept written
comments regarding this project NCDOT will update the community on the two
"build" alternatives improve the existing roadway, which will require an off-site
detour route during construction, or new location The proposed improvements
are needed to make NC 215 a wider and safer two-lane roadway
