The existing bridge is 25.5 feet long. The replacement structure will (Description of Minimization of Water be a 1@ 20'X1' Bottomless Culvert with minimum 4' Opening over Creek in order to minimize impacts to the stream. The proposed culvert will be just upstream of the existing Quality Impacts) culvert in order to allow for phase construction. Phase construction is required due to a long offsite detour route. The roadway grade along the new structure will be approximately the same as the existing. Class I rip rap was used on the banks at the inlet and outlet of the culvert. An upstream ditch will be outleted by a new crosspipe onto the downstream stream bank.
