Annual Avg Daily Traffic (veh/hr/day): Desi n/Future: Year: Existing: 940 Year: 2017 General Project Narrative: Replacement of Bridge No. 630086 on SR 1002 (Seven Paths Rd.) over Turkey Creek in Nash County West of Spring Hope, NC. Proposed 65' long by 33' wide single-span (Description of Minimization of Water bridge to replace existing 41' long by 26' wide single span bridge. The proposed grade will be about 1' above existing ground within the vicinity of the bridge and roughly Quality Impacts) matching existing ground outside of the bridge. Bridge No. 630086 is within the Tar-Pamlico River Drainage Basin and shall adhere to the Tar-Pamlico Buffer Rules. The proposed bridge will have no direct discharge into the water. Stormwater runoff from the west approach of the proposed bridge is to flow to two traffic bearing grated inlets on both sides of the roadway where it will be diffused with a riprap pad at the proposed pipe outlets. All proposed stormwater runoff is discharged as far away from the stream and at the lowest velocities as practicable.
