The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of the Carolina Village Mobile Home Park
on July 25, 2017. This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the
conditions and limitations specified in NPDES WW Permit No. NC0063762. A summary of the findings and
comments noted during the inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report.
The Compliance Evaluation inspection was conducted by Division of Water Resources staff from the Mooresville
Regional Office. The following violation(s) were noted during the inspection:
Inspection Area Description of Violation
Bar Screens Bars on bar screen are placed too far apart. Rags and debris accumulating in flow
equalization basin." r {�
Effluent Sampling Effluent sampler should have a thermometer to measure sample storage temperature.
Sample temperature should be equal or less than 6.0 degrees C.
Operations & Maintenance Flow meter not operating at time of inspection.
Operations & Maintenance Rags and debris in roll -away trash bins should be disposed of properly in sanitary landfill.
