Hi Derek,
Given the timeline needed to keep this project on track, we agree to shortening the moratorium required to January 1
to April 15. We believe that a greater risk to water quality from this project is potential sediment loss from the large
amount of upland disturbance at this site. Attention to effective sediment and erosion control is essential to protect
downstream aquatic resources.

Hi Andrea,
Would you be willing to extend the moratorium start date on this project to January 1st?
Since we are planning to work in the dry and this channel flows at a very low rate I feel like there is very little risk to
downstream sedimentation. Additionally the fire department is on a very tight timeline because they have been forced
to relocate and do not want to have a lapse in emergency services for the community.
