Joanne,
Hi, maybe your call to me wasn't a mistake O.
Chris sent this along to me to try to get you the answers you're asking for.
The impact summary sheet has sites 1-3 for impacts the PCN has impacts 2-4.
This appears to be a goof up on my part. Looks like a remnant of a previous PCN I did
and forgot to change the site numbers. There should be no site 4. Site numbers appear
correct for the other tables.
The stream impacts (on the PCN) has 21 LF of permanent which matches but the
temporary impacts on the PCN are in acres and on the impact summary sheet it's 178
LF.
Typically we have reported temporary stream impact as acreage. I know many times in
the past we have been asked for the linear impact, which we have provided. The
acreage for the temporary stream impact (0.02) is in the column for temporary surface
water impact. The impact is a narrow sliver that wraps around the abutments and fill
slopes/approaches of both bridges.
The wetlands impacts on the PCN has 0.20 permanent impacts and the impact summary
sheet has 0.13 acres of permanent impacts.
The permanent wetland impact is due to 0.13 acre of fill and an additional 0.07 acre of
mechanized clearing. It can be argued that mechanized clearing should not be
considered a permanent impact, but to date we've been directed to treat it as such.
For the open water impacts the permanent impacts are good. The temporary impacts
on the PCN are 0.02 and on the impacts sheet, it's 0.04.
The temporary SW impacts are showing impacts to both open water and the temporary
stream impact. So Site 1/2 (Line 1) and Site 2/3 (Line 3) are the acreages for the
temporary stream impacts. That's why you are seeing the 0.02 for temporary stream
impact (Table 3) and 0.02 temporary open water (Table 4).
Please forgive me for having to ask this rookie question, but how are the sites
identified? The PCN has 1-4 and you summary sheet has 1/2 , 2, 2/3 & 3. I tried to figure
out the stations, but then the wetlands seemed to overlap and weren't separate. I
understand you are very busy, but I would appreciate your help on this.
For simplicities sake, on the PCN, I lumped the impacts to a single site instead of going
with the site 1/2, etc. I can revise the tables on the PCN to match the site numbers used
on the permit summary table if that will clear it up.
Please let me know if this answers your questions, or you need any more information.

Hey Chris,
I started working on this permit and found that the PCN and the Impact summary sheet
do not match. (Sorry)

temporary impacts on the PCN are in acres and on the impact summary sheet it's 178

I'm in today, in Div. 3 tomorrow and back in on Friday.
