The Division is returning your consultant's request for remission of the subject civil penalty case.
Remission requests must be received within 30 days of the delivery of enforcement documents via
Certified Mail. Records from the USPS show that the subject case documents were delivered on
6/30/2017, making 7/30/2017 the due date for a response. The remission request [attached] was
received on 8/1/2017, outside the 30 -day window.
The Division did receive remission requests for two other cases (LV -2017-0184 and LV -2017-0185)
within the 30 -day window, and will consider those requests. Please instruct your consultant to
submit all remission requests promptly, to prevent missing the 30 -day deadline.
