Consulting Engineers & Surveyors 1403 NC Hwy 50 South Benson, NC 27504 Phase 3 - Wynnridge Subdivision Grove Township, Harnett County PROJECT NARRATIVE Phone- (919) 894-5731 (919)894-7765 Fax- (919) 894-8190 Email: general@enochengineers corn Project Description The purpose of this project is to develop a 20 lot residential subdivision. The subdivision site is 20.59 acres and is located along Wynnridge Drive (off of Old Stage Road N - SR 1006) in Grove Township, Harnett County, NC. All subdivision construction has been considered in this land disturbance activity. Site Description The site is partially wooded and partially agriculture land. Existing topography drains from the Northwest to the Southeast with slopes ranging from approximately 2% - 10% into an unnamed tributary to Black River. Adjacent Properly The land uses in the surrounding areas are residential and undeveloped. Soils The soils in the project area consist of Bb (Bibb loam, frequently flooded), NoC (Norfolk loamy sand, 6 to 10 percent slopes), and FaB (Fuquay loamy sand, 0 to 6 percent slopes). Bb is categorized as poorly drained, moderately permeable, and is poorly suited to urban and recreational uses. NoC is categorized as well drained, moderately permeable, and is well suited to most urban and recreational uses. FaB is categorized as well drained, moderately permeable, and is moderately suited to most urban and recreational uses. Planned Erosion and Sediment Control As shown on the Erosion Control Plan the project will be controlled and stabilized with diversion berms, silt fence, silt fence outlets, and temporary skimmer basins w/baffles. Topsoil will be stored on site (temporary stockpile area) and berms will be constructed from topsoil graded from the site and will be backed with silt fence. Skimmer basins will be constructed with baffles and outlet protection. All measures will be constructed and maintained to NCDEQ standards and requirements. After erosion control measures are removed. Surface waters from the roadway areas will drain via grassed roadside ditches to a grassy swale (Lot 30/31) which will convey the runoff to an undisturbed low area of the site. Impervious areas on the lots will surface drain through the grassed yard areas over the natural contours of the Site.
