Just wanted to double check that this request is for a NW 3 and a NW 12. I know the
application says 3& 12, but the email says 3& 16. Sometimes here we copy and paste
so I wanted to double check which permits you were looking for.

Kyle and Garcy,
Attached is a request for a NW 3& 16, 401 certification and buffer authorization for the
replacement of bridge # 8 over Mill Creek (Rutman) on US 264 in Hyde County. I have
included the request letter, PCN form, location map, permit drawings, and
correspondence with USFWS, WRC & NCMFC. There is a county water line, century link
cable that will need to be bored under Rutman Creek, along with a temporary power
pole relocation. The utility relocations will not cause any wetland or surface water
impacts, except for approximately 40 sq. ft. of temporary hand clearing in 404 wetland
to place a guidewire. The contractor would like to have these utilities out of the way
prior to the fall time period, when the bridge would likely start construction.
I can send you all a hard copy if you need them, just let me know. If you have any
questions about the drawings or application, please let me know.

Greg and I are meeting at the site tomorrow to look at the utilities permit at 10:30. If
you and Garcy want to meet with us and review the site, feel free to join us.
