Notes from Field Review
• Planting plan calls for natural recruitment
• Upper end of G2 is marginally jurisdictional, not eligible for credit until at least lower
intermittent or perennial; however, if included, it may justify slightly higher ratio (5:1. Vs.
7.5:1) on perennial stream down the same trib.
• E2 reaches on site are already in good condition. Maybe 7.5:1 ratio due to limited buffer
improvement.
• Need to have County PM done JD
• Area above gas pipeline is not E2 at 2.5:1 or even 5:1. Maybe 7.5:1.
• Wetland restoration hydrology in 2 zones. On slope 8-10%, n flats 10-12%
• Existing wetland near stream is alr already JD
• No cattle access to any streams on site currently
• E1 at bottom was ok.
• E1 in mid -channel are was ok, except probably too long. Only ok in old pon bed area.
• RES to submit modified basic concept plan for review and to justify proposed ratios. Will
probably ask for 5:1 on all E2 reaches but this would be too high in my opinion due to
current conditions which are relatively high functioning.
