Ocean Isle Beach Marketplace
USACE Action ID. No. SAW -2015-01887
Dear Mr. Worthen:
A 401 Water Quality Certification (#4112) for Ocean Isle Beach Marketplace was issued on
March 27, 2017 for 1.558 acres of wetland and 0.014 acre of open water impacts. On
June 30, 2017, the Division of Water Resources (Division) received a modification request from
your consultant, Land Management Group, Inc., dated June 30, 2017. The modification request
involves relocation of the outlet for a stormwater bypass pipe from the northwest to the northeast
corner of the wetland (Site 1 — Impact A: 0.056 acre) with no change to the amount of wetland
impact.
By copy of this letter, 401 Water Quality Certification #4112 is modified to reflect the new location
of the stormwater outlet as shown on the attached exhibits. Please note that impact to the
wetland in the original location must be avoided.
All other conditions in the 401 Water Quality Certification #4112 remain unchanged and are in
effect. This completes the review of the Division under section 401 of the Clean Water Act and
