The Hatteras Ferry Terminal is used by the NCDOT Ferry Division to transport the public back and forth from Hatteras Island to Ocracoke. In spring
2018 a new passenger ferry service will be coming to the Hatteras Ferry Terminal and improvements to the basin are needed to be accomplished
before fall 2017. The property size listed about is the size of the adjacent state owned property.
