Comment: I reviewed downstream seqments of JS below Site 1 to determine sediment removal from last week's
storm event. The stream was cleaned of excess sediment. DOT staff and contractor explained that thev
were workinq with downstream landowners to ensure JS within their properties is free of excess
sediments. More work mav need to be done with subsequent storm events as fillinq and qradinq
continues alonq this steep area. DOT will keep close attention to area. Stormwater convevance in this
area is under studv for potential revision to help minimize downstream impacts.
