Subject: River Towne Development 401 Approval; DWQ No. 08-1063; S&EC No. 9239.W3 From: "Nikki Thomson" <nthomson@sandec.com> Date: Tue, 7 Oct 2008 11:38:00 -0400 To: "Ian McMillan" <ian.mcmillan@ncmail.net> Hi again Ian! I just left you a voicemail on the above 401 Approval that we got today. First, thank you very much! This will make the client wicked happy! I noticed 2 errors that I wanted to let you know about. The first is the Buffer Impact amounts. You have listed them including the buffer impact for Road Crossing #4 (Impact #20) which is the one we discussed that can't be built (the centerline of the stream is the property boundary). The total Zone 1 Buffer impacts are actually 29,255 sq. ft. and the Zone 2 impacts are 20,096 sq. ft. I don't want the client approved for more impact than is actually needed; that would be a bad thing! Also, with respect to that "road to nowhere," in the Approval you state that "Proposed stream crossing Impact N. 11 was not approved for impact." This error may actually be my fault; I think somewhere on the PCN I incorrectly referenced that stream impact as No. 11 - god knows where I got that from! The impact maps show it as Road Crossing #4, Impact #20. I'm assuming that this is the one you meant to say was not approved for impact (for all the reasons we previously discussed). Again, the fault is mine and I didn't catch it until today. I'm a dummy sometimes!! LOL Thanks so much and I'm sorry for being a pain in yer butt. If you have any questions, just give me a holler!
