The above project qualifies for a Nationwide Permit 3 and 12 authorization. NCDOT is
authorized to replace an existing 30 ft by 25 ft bridge and associated utilities on NCSR
1220 (Dances Bay Road) over a tributary to the Little River near Nixonton in Pasquotank
County, North Carolina. As proposed, the project will impact 117 square feet of Coastal
Wetlands. Attached are the conditions for NWP #3 and 12. Utilities must be buried a
minimum of 10 feet below the substrate. Permit must be obtained from NCDCM prior to
initiation of construction.
