Atlantic Coast Pipeline — 401 Water Quality Certification Application

BACKGROUND:
Atlantic Coast Pipeline, LLC (ACP) has applied to the N.C. Division of Water Resources (DWR) for a 401
Water Quality Certification and Buffer Authorization (project 42014-0957 v2). ACP is proposing to
construct one compressor station and install approximately 186 miles of transmission pipeline and
accessories in Northampton, Halifax, Nash, Wilson, Johnston, Sampson, Cumberland and Robeson
counties. This proposed project will permanently impact 766 linear feet of jurisdictional streams and
0.80 acres of jurisdictional wetlands, and temporarily impact 35,951 linear feet of jurisdictional streams
and 454 acres of jurisdictional wetlands. DWR must take final action on the application prior to Sept.
18, 2017.

The public is invited to comment in writing on the application described above, as well as speak at the
hearing. Written comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. Aug. 19, 2017 to be considered.

HISTORIAL:
Atlantic Coast Pipeline, LLC (ACP) ha sometido una solicitud a la Divisi6n de Recursos de Agua para una
Certificacion de Calidad de Agua y Autorizaci6n para Franja Amortiguadora (Proyecto #2014-0957 v2). ACP
propone la construccion de una estaci6n de compresor y la instalacion de aproximadamente 186 millas de tuberia
de transmisi6n y sus complementos en los condados de Northampton, Halifax, Nash, Wilson, Johnston, Sampson,
Cumberland y Robeson. EI proyecto propuesto impactara permanentemente 766 pies lineales de rios
jurisdiccionales y 0.8 acres de humedales juridiccionales a impactara temporeramente 35,951 pies lineales de rios
jurisdiccionales y 454 acres de humedales jurisdiccionales. La Divisi6n de Recursos de Agua debera tomar una
determinacion final con relation a esta solicitud antes del 18 de septiembre de 2017.
