The site is a public park that includes equine, sports, fishing, wading, and educational opportunities and events. Land use in the vicinity of the project
is residential, municipal, and agricultural.

To stabilize and restore eroding stream banks, establish a quality riparian buffer within 50 feet of the river, improve
channel diversity and habitat, mitigate storm water inputs to the river.
3e. Describe the overall project in detail, including the type of equipment to be used: The project is a stream bank stabilization and
restoration project. The project will involve grading failing stream banks to stable slopes and will incorporate installation of bankfull benches and
in -stream hydraulic structures and enhancement of the riparian buffer within 50 feet of the stream using Natural Channel Design techniques.
Equipment will include track mounted excavators with hydraulic thumbs, loaders, dump trucks, manual laborers and hand tools.
