Dear Mi•. Shaver:
The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is submitting the enclosed prelimina�y
jurisdictional determination (PJD) documentation for eleven bt•idge replacement projects located in
Brunswick and New Hanover Cotmties, NC. The bridges are identified as the following State
Tt•anspoi-tation Lnprovement Pt•ojects (STIP): B-4439, B-5622, B-5624, B-5627, B-5629, B-5634, B-
5637, B-5638, B-5640, B-5642 and B-5649.
NCDOT proposes to t•eplace tllese bridges i►nder a Pi•ogrammatic Categorical Exclusion (PCE).
The following enclosures foi• each bridge site are included: completed PJD request form, wetland and
stream data foj-ms, vicinity map, project location map, topographic map, and jurisdictional featut•es
maps.
The project limits have been delineated by Calyx, and they will be coordinating with you to arrange
for a site inspection.
