Learn More. David: We are requesting a stream call on the discharge tributary (Filbert Creek) for each of the Edenton WTPs that discharge to this creek under tow separate NPDES permits. I have attached a map showing the locations of discharge points (two red stars) and the property parcels around the creek. These discharge locations are based on the maps from the NPDES permit. Currently, the NCDEQ NPDES permitting division considers the creek to be a zero stream flow (7Q10 = 0 cfs). This zero flow classification is based upon the creek discharging into Edenton Bay and thus being tidally influenced by Edenton Bay. I am requesting if you can verify if this creek default classification is valid. I am not sure how many of the parcel owners you need contact for the stream call effort. For now I assume you could just stay on the west side of the creek for your evaluation. The attached map shows the property owners around the creek. As a contact person for the Town I have provided the Town Manager, Anne -Marie Knighton who can authorize you to go on the property. Please indicate when you would plan to perform the stream call. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. If you have any trouble downloading the files, let me know and I can send them separately. Learn More. Mr. May: Expires July 27, 2017 I was recently talking to Jamie McNees and she suggested I contact you. I am working on a Discharge Alternatives Evaluation for the Freemason and Beaverhill Water Treatment Plants (WTPs) in Edenton. Each of these WTPs discharges to a tributary (Filbert Creek) to Edenton Bay. The attached downloads show the discharge points for the NPDES Permits for the WTPs. Hopefully you can download these figures successfully. The NPDES permit department considers the tributary to be a zero flow stream because it discharges to Edenton Bay which is tidally influenced. Can you tell me if anyone has performed a stream call on Filbert Creek to verify it is zero flow stream? If not, can we get a stream call performed?
