1. Please provide a 30-foot minimum densely vegetated filter strip between all
diffuse flow devices (level spreaders, scour holes) and receiving streams or
wetlands. The flows through the vegetative filter strips shall be nonerosive.
2. Please provide a minimum length of 49 feet for the level spreader associated with
BMP #4. The 49 linear feet per cfs of flow requires that a minimum length of 49
feet of level spreader shall be provided for flows less than or equal to one (1) cfs.
