The DWQ is concerned about the significant difference in the average square footage of the homes that are already built in Phase I (1987 square feet) versus the estimated average square footage of the future homes (1298 square feet). Please explain the reason for this difference, which is over 50 percent. 2. In light of comment'number one, the DWQ considers the following drainage areas to be greater than 24 percent impervious: 1, 4, 5 and 7. For these drainage areas, please provide properly designed BMPs that remove a minimum of 85 percent TSS from the stormwater generated by the high density drainage areas. For any BMPs that are proposed, please provide a completed BMP Supplement Form, with all the required items. The BMP Supplement Forms are available at the following web site: http://h2o.eni-.state.nc.us/sLi/bmp_forms.htm. In drainage areas 6 and 7, please remove the permanent diversion swales that are proposed behind lots 85-93 and lots 94-101. These swales are likely to compromise the natural hydrology of the adjacent wetland area.
