Stream Restoration Sod Request
Sue Homewood:
As discussed during our site meeting at the Blowing Rock Country Club (BRCC) stream
restoration project on May 26, 2017 BRCC is requesting to plant sod along the toe of
the steep slope at the Hole 13 green play-over. This request will allow for the lower
slope along the stream to become a playable area if players' shots miss the green. The
sod will be placed over the coir matting and around the live stakes to allow for the
greatest bank stability. The below photographs and attached map indicate the
approximate size and location of the area requested to be planted with sod.
