Note that we did not design these small bridge replacement projects to meet any specific stormwater requirements due to the limited right-of-way and small increase to impervious area compared to existing conditions. We did however try to incorporate grass swale treatment into our drainage design where it was practical to do so. We do have grass swale treatment on both projects and that language as well as the computations for those swales have been added to the stormwater management plans. Other proposed ditches on these projects were too steep and required permanent liners to avoid erosion issues. Hopefully the Hydraulic Predesign Reports I sent earlier this week were helpful even though we didn't have any bridge scoping sheets. Please let me know if you need any additional information. As far as the bridge scoping sheets for these projects, are you referring to the sheets normally prepared by the Division? I don't believe I ever saw those for HDR's group of bridge projects. I have attached the Hydraulic Predesign Report for R.58 in case that has the stream info that Donna is looking for. I will send the Hydraulic PDR for R.67 in a second email due to file size. In summary, Donna would like to see our bridge scoping sheets as well as stormwater management plans that address the increased stormwater runoff from both projects. The stormwater management plans do not need to be highly detailed but we must state how we plan to treat the stormwater runoff, whether it be via grassy swales or whatever the case may be.
