Thanks for the information. I've reviewed it and think that you all have adequately provided enough additional information to
address my concerns. I'll be out on leave until June 14 and as such will not be able to sign the concurrence form, if indeed the
Merger process (CP4A) proceeds to that point prior to my return. However, if concerns remain with other Merger participants
and further information is requested, I would prefer to wait until I hear their concerns before making a final decision.

Good morning. Attached are revised minutes for the R-2566B CP 3/4A Merger meeting. One change has been made, at the top
of page 3. In the meeting, we estimated that trucks would experience a 10% reduction in speed up the southbound grade from
Broadstone Road to Old Shulls Mill Road. Following the meeting, looking in AASHTO, we discovered this number is up to about
25 mph. The additional information provided last week had the correct number, and the attached minutes have been revised to
be consistent.

Good afternoon,
Attached is a summary of the March 15, 2017 CP 3& 4A meeting for Project R-2566B, NC 105 improvements in Watauga County.
Also attached is a document that provides additional information on the purpose and need of the proposed climbing lane, and
also addresses several other questions raised during the March meeting.
We will be in touch with the Merger members next week, after you have had a chance to read through the materials. If possible,
we will resolve the questions and complete CP 4A electronically. (We have all signatures for CP 3.) If needed, we will schedule
another in-person meeting with the Merger Team.
