Duke Energy is in receipt of the above -referenced letter wMicR ioentines ay site rile grounawater
monitoring: wells to be sampled on a quarterly basis beginning in QuavLer 3 (July 1). Duke Energy, along
with our consultants_ has reviewed Me list anti oners minor changes. Duke Energy requests a meeting
with Regional Office and Central Office personnel to discuss these changes to the Interim Monitoring
Plan (IMIP) such that sampling beginnins in July can proceed smoothly.
Duke Energy proposes the following changes by site:
Allen Steam station
Remove well BG-1D from the IMP and replace with recently installed well ISO-iDA*
Remove well 6G-21311 from the IMP and replace with recently installed well BG-2BRA*
Remove well GvvA-izFD from rile IICIP anti replace with recently installed well GWA-14DA
Remove well GWA-21D from the IMP and replace with recently installed well GVVA-c1I7W_'
Remove well GWA-3BR from the IMP and replace with recently installed well GWA-3BRA*
Remove well GvvA-40R from the IIDIP anti replace with recently installed .ell GWA-4BRA"
Remove well GWA-51311 from the IMP and replace with recently installed well GwA-36RA*

Well PZ-16 has turbidity issues and needs to be removed from the IICIP. Any siscussion regareing this
well replacement will be discussed in the near tErm.

closure activities. Please remove these wells from the IMP.
Monitoring well Mvv-J.L was Risicricahy aBantlonea. Please remove this well from the IMP.
Monitoring wells BG-ID, C-113RU, GWA-LUE1, Ovum-c-1D, Mvv-J.]G. MW-i6R'. Mvv-y6RT, and MW-9D�,
are currently beinb replaced. Dukii Energy will update the regional office once the 'new' well names are
known.
