The Town is in receipt of your letter dated January 20, 2017 in reference to the permit renewal
request for the above reference Permit. The Town of Ramseur has reviewed the Division of
Water Resources' General Permit NCG590000 for conventional -type water treatment plants,
and request that Ramseur WTP's discharge be covered under this new general permit. The
Town understands that the Division will rescind individual NPDES permit NCO074454 for
Ramseur's WTP and replace it with a Certificate of Coverage (COC) under General Permit
NCG590000.
