If Project is being DOT funded have DOT provide me with the WBS Element code that
would allow internal transfer.
If Project is not being DOT funded:
A. A check made out to NC Division of Water Resources can be mailed

B. A check made out to NC Division of Water Resources can also be hand
delivered to the Archdale Building in Raleigh NC located on:

As for whether the application is needed with the check it would be preferred to have
an identifier with the check that would match the electronic paperwork being sent to
ensure the check is being matched to the correct project, however a paper copy of the
entire application is not necessarily needed as long as the entire application has been
received via electronic copy.
In this case I just downloaded the electronic copy of the application and have assigned it
a BIMS tracking number of 20170719. As long as your check references that BIMS
tracking number we should be all set.
Please note project review is on hold until fee is received.

When mailing the $240 application fee check to N.C. Division of Water
Resources, what is the address for where the check should be mailed? And, is it
necessary to include a copy of the full application with the check or should the
check be mailed alone?

I transmitted GoTriangle's Pre-Construction Notification (PCN) for a Nationwide
Permit #6 and General Certification #4085 package via AMDREC SAFE transfer.
You should receive an email from the AMDREC system when the file is ready for
download.
This permit application package details the temporary impacts that would be
anticipated to result from geotechnical surveys to be performed along the 17.7
mile Durham-Orange Light Rail Transit Project alignment in/around jurisdictional
waters and buffer areas. Based on the direction in the PCN checklist, a check in
the amount of $240 will be mailed to the N.C. Department of Water Resources
for the review of this PCN application.
Please note that I also copied you on GoTriangle's non-recreational land outgrant
request for your reference (also transmitted via AMDREC). The purpose of the
non-recreational land outgrant request is to use government property (i.e.,
Jordan game lands) and/or transportation right-of-way/easements located on
government property (i.e., NC-54 and George King Road) to perform
geotechnical surveys on government property. These geotechnical surveys will
inform the design of the Durham-Orange Light Rail Transit Project.
I realize that it is not required to provide the non-recreational land outgrant
request for the purpose of your PCN application review, but I wanted to make
sure that you were aware that GoTriangle also submitted the appropriate
paperwork for geotechnical surveys on government property.
