The Division of Water Quality hereby concurs in the proposed modification of the freshet flows
in late winter and early spring for release from the Roanoke Rapids and Lake Gaston project as outlined
in the December 18,2006 lettersent from Mr. Bennett Wynne of the NC Wildlife Resouroes Commission
to the Division of Water Quality. This concurrence w111 serve as a written agreement as required by the
401 Wafter Quality Certification for this projectand/or the settlement agreement issued by the Federal
Energy Regulatory Commission.
