Wetlands are present in southeast and southwest variable width base ditch to replicate existing drainage patterns. quadrants. Annual Avg Daily Traffic (veh/hr/day): Desi n/Future: 2200 Year: 2032 Existin : 1100 Year: 2012 General Project Narrative: State project 17BP.2.R.76 involves the replacement of Beaufort County Bridge #060004 on SR 1410 (VOA Rd.) over Aggie Run. The existing bridge consists of 1@ 17' - 10", 4 (Description of Minimization of Water @ 17' - 0" and 1@ 17' - 7", reinforced concrete deck on timber joists. It is to be replaced with a 1@ 50' - 0", 1@ 50' - 0" and 1@ 35' - 0", 21" cored slab (135' total length, 33' Quality Impacts) totoal width) at the same location. In accorance with Tar-Pamlico River Buffer Regulations, the propsoed bridge does not contain deck drains. All stormwater from the bridge and approches will be collected by a storm drainage system and discharged into the wetlands. The drainage system will outlet outside of the buffer limits in the southwest quadrant at -L- station 13+g6 LT with the outlet pipe set at 0.3% to reduce velocity into the wetlands. At northeast quadrant the fill slope was revised to steeper than 3:1 slope to eliminate fill in the existing ditch. The proposed ditch in the northwest quadrant maintains exist drainage pattern by utilizing variable width base ditch that tappers to 0' in depth and matches the width of existing drainage feature prior to reaching Aggie Run.
