PI'O)ECt DSCCItIOtl — State project 17BP.2.R.76 inalves the replacement of Beaufort Caunty Bridge #060004
on SR 1410 (VOA Rd.) over Aggie Run. The existing bridge consists of 1@ i7' - 10", 4@ 17' - 0" and 1@ 17' - 7",
reinforced concrete deck on timber joists. It is to be repfaced with a 1@ 5' - D", 1@ 50' - 0" and 1@ 35' - 0", 21"
cored slab (135' total length, 33' total width) at the same location. In accardance with Tar-Pamlico Ftiver Buffer

be collected by a s#orm drainage sysfem and discharged into the wetlands. The drainage system wili ouflet autside of
the buffer limits in the southwest quadrant at -L- station 13+96 LT with the ouilet pipe set at 0.3% to reduce elocity
into the wetlands. At northeast quadrant the fill slope was revised to steeper than 3:1 slope to eliminate fill in the
existing ditch_ The proposed ditch in the northwest quacfrant maintains exist drainage pattern by utilizing variable
width base ditch that tapers ta 0' in depfh and matches the width of existing drainage feature prior to reaching Aggie
Ran.
