The correct amoun[ should have been 8,279 sq ft. The corrected Buffer Impact Table and mitigation condi[ion are listed below. This table replaces the Buf%r Impact Table included with the original 401 Warer Qualiry Certitication dated May8, 2017. North Carolina 27699-1617 The following conditions apply to the buffer mitigation requirements: Compensatory mitigation for impacts to 33,970 square feet of protected riparian buffers in Zone 1 and 33,7ll square feet of protected riparian buffers in Zone 2 shall be required (see buffer impact table for total mitigation required). We understand that you have chosen to perform compensatory mitigation for impacu to protected buffers through use of the North Carolina Division of Mitigation Services (DMS) (formerly NCEEP). Mitigation for unavoidable impacts to Neuse Riparian Buffers shall be provided in the Neuse River Basin and done in accordance with I SA NCAC .02B .0295. The DMS has indicated in a letter dated February 21, 2107 that they will assume responsibiliry for satisfying the compensatory mitigation requirements for the above-referenced project, in accordance with DMS's Mitigation Banking Instrument signed June 14, 2016. 2. For this authorization to be valid, DWR requires confirmation that the required buffer mitigation credits aze available. Impacu to jurisdictional resources approved with this certification are not allowed prior to receipt of confirtnation of the available buffer mitigation credits. Please attach a copy of this letter with any copies of the original Water Quality Certification. All other conditions of the original Water Quality Certification dated May 8, 2017 still apply except where superseded by this correction. We apologize for any incomenience this may have caused.
