Thank you for your letter dated July 25', 2008 regarding the King's Bluff Pump Station. You mention in this letter
that the project does not meet conditions of the Nationwide Permit and will be processed as an Individual Permit. You also
request additional information for this project. Below is a response to each of your comments.
1. Please provide the names and addresses for all properties that border the proposed project, including the
property that is adjacent to the north side of the Cape Fear River.
Enclosed is a list of all adjacent property owners.
2. Provide a list of authorizations requested from other federal, state, and/or local agencies for the work,
including all approvals received or denials already made.
No authorizations for this specific project have been requested or obtained yet. McKim and Creed has prepared an
Environmental Assessment for this project and is hoping to obtain a FONSI shortly. Furthermore, aNationwide Permit
18 was obtained for the pump station expansion in October of 2007.
