SUMMARY OF HISTORIC ARCHICTECTURE AND LANDSCAPES REVIEW Description of review activities, results, and conclusions: Review of HPO quad maps, HPO GIS information, historic designations roster, and indexes was undertaken on September 11, 2015. Based on this review, there are no existing NR, SL, LD, DE, or SS properties in the Area of Potential Effects, which is defined as 30' from the centerline each way from end to end of project. There are several mobile homes and sheds clustered to the western edge of the project at the intersection of Sampson Road and Dry Pond Road. Based on aerial imagery and tax information, they are not eligible for National Register listing. One properly, at 2247 Sampson Road, was built 1995 based on Watauga County GIS/Tax information. There are no other structures within the APE. There are no National Register listed or eligible properties, and review is complete. If design plans change, additional review will be required. Whv the available informntion provides a reliable basis for reasonablv predictinQ that there are no unidenti�ed si�ni�cant historic nrchi%ctural or lan�lscape resources in the nroiect area: HPO quad maps and GIS information recording NR, SL, LD, DE, and SS properties for the Watauga County survey, Watauga County GIS/Tax Information, and Google Maps are considered valid for the purposes of determining the likelihood of historic resources being present. There are no National Register listed or eligible properties within the APE and no survey is required.
